Lake Shasta Caverns is a geologic adventure for your whole family. You can explore Lake Shasta on a catamaran, where your captain will act as a guide and inform you about the geography, formation, and natural beauty of the caverns. Visit California's newest national natural landmark today!
Take part in a robust and comprehensive tour to see the caverns and lake in their glory. Along the way, you might see local animals, such as bald eagles, mountain lions, and black bears!
Ticket includes the boat, bus and tour of caverns. Children will receive a miner's gem bag with their ticket.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your designated departure time and check in at our main ticket counter to obtain a boarding pass as seats are assigned on a first come, first serve basis!
Seats are offered on the next available tour upon your check-in at the ticket counter. The boat departs at the scheduled times, please allow ample time to check-in, possible use of restroom and walk down to the boat.
If you have any problems climbing stairs, such as bad knees, bad back, heart conditions, pacemaker, injuries or claustrophobia, the cavern tour is not recommended.
No strollers, backpacks, pets or animals, except for certified service animals and animals small enough to carry, are allowed on the cavern tour.
Holiday Weekends - Due to high traffic on Holiday Weekends allow extra time for check-in preferably 30 to 45 minutes.
Weather - Adverse weather conditions may occur quickly during certain times of the year. Snow, ice and/or wind may cause a cancellation of tours with very short notice. In these cases, ticket holders will receive a full refund.
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization, miner's gem bag and student ticket.

Please use the information on this page (package type, venue name, price, etc.) to submit an order request with your school. Once your order is approved, your school will forward the request to us. We will then reach out to you with instructions on how to finalize your trip details and access accompanying resources. Once finalized, you will receive your e-tickets and any additional materials directly to your inbox within 1-3 business days. If you don't see our email(s), please check your spam folder prior to contacting us.
To ensure a smooth process, it is generally recommended to submit your order with your school AT LEAST 10 business days prior to your trip date, unless you are booking a venue that requires more advanced planning. *Please be mindful of your school's processing times and plan accordingly.
