Foundation: Established in 1981 in San Diego, CYT was founded by Paul and Sheryl Russell with a vision to create a wholesome and enriching environment for young people to explore the performing arts. CYT has since grown to become the largest youth theater program in the nation, with numerous branches across the country.

Mainstage Productions: Each CYT branch produces multiple full-scale musicals and plays each year. Shows are 2+ hours with intermisson.
While this is suitable for all ages, it is recommended for children aged 5 and up due to the length of the shows.
 
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
 
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization and student ticket.
